Week-end

As a newbie to the Mommy world, it is imperative for me and my husband to maintain a sense of weekend normalcy for connection and intimacy with one another and also providing intentional opportunities for our daughter to be exposed to different places, customs, traditions and social interactions.

Besides, in order to raise emotionally intelligent beings, they have to learn to thrive independently and the only way to do that is to expose them to varied circumstances. COVID_19 has practically ruined normalcy as we know/knew it! But yet, we find joy in being connected at home and uses media platforms to connect with family and other loved ones.

This weekend, I am so looking forward to washing, cleaning out the frig and getting my recently purchased bathroom decor off the floor and onto the wall…all while cooking, baking and tending to our sweet baby girl. She is on the move now, it shouldn’t be that bad, right? LOL
