The Morning of Silence

So this morning, I had another one of those Mom moments, sitting at the kitchen table, gazing out of the window while making a to-do and to-get list without having to look down at the paper. LOL The house was quiet yet I could hear the white noise so audibly from my baby girl’s room. I sat and thought of the joy when she was placed on my chest after birth and then coming full circle to the potty training time in which she sits on the pot and wipes followed by flushing so independently. I thought to myself of all the fun times ahead and the laughter that has filled our home. The gift of a daughter is better than any gem or fancy this or that! In fact it has been my greatest accomplishment yet!

To all of my Moms, Moms 2 Be and Moms In Waiting you are the apple of your kiddos eyes! We are their first love and they teach us the art of unconditional love. Hug your babies just a little tighter for they too are gazing at you in pure wonder of how you control the balancing act of life!
