My train of thought for todays’ post was completely washed as I watched my daughter on her pretend kitchen set. So I hear the clanging of her pans, spoons a stirring and see the set up of Blue, her favorite baby and her storytime dog at the table. I never interrupt this time because I always want to see the play plan realize itself, right.. …

So I am watching and pretending to still be on my computer as to not interrupt or to show me actively watching, LOL -kind of like a live in spy jk. When I tell you, I learned so much in those 9 to 12 minutes because her actions, her speech, her care for cooking/tending to “the family” was so genuine and mirrored me as if she had studied the script. In that moment, I was forever reminded that I will never teach her anything through words as my actions are her blueprint.

Moms, Moms 2 Be and Moms In Waiting- always remember, even when we think they are not watching- they are and they will learn to love, to give, to inspire, to work, to …to ..do everything from our actions. I am so grateful that I was able to see a reflection of myself that was pure and of such love and moreover, one that I could live with!
