Do Not Shout- Try More Hugs!

I am often critized for how “patient” and “soft spoken” I am with my daughter and laughed at for using “Gentle Parenting” methods when she is having a tantrum but you know what when I read this post, I reminded myself “you are doing a great job”

Did you know? When we get angry at our children a lot- this happens

  1. They start hiding things from us because they get scared of us.

  2. They get angry the same way with other people or siblings.

  3. They stop listening to our calm voice and become stubborn.

Moms, Moms 2 Be and Moms In Waiting - anger may work in that moment, BUT oh the BUT- it is creating long-term problems

That was said well- anger is in fact dillusional! The challenge is on, let us continue to regulate ourselves!

Everyone, including children deserve grace and the opportunity to retry within environments that are safe, supportive, loving and most importantly consistent!
