The Treasure of an Aunt!

By definition, the term “Auntie” is an affectionate term used for one of your Parent’s sisters or sisters in law! Well I have the best Aunties in the world- 6 to be exact! Today just so happens to be one of my Auntie’s birthdays and I want to send her all the love her heart can withstand!

A Poem For My Auntie

I feel such a special closeness to you!

I always have.

I guess it’s because, from the beginning,

you have been there for me..

encouraging me, listening to my troubles,

and cherring me on along the way.

Now, as we’re both getting older,

it seems even more important

to thank you, and tell you

how much you mean to me.

I love you dearly,

and I feel so fortunate

to have you in my life.

I will forever feel to be of an extension of you because you have given me all of you!
