The Cardboard Box

WAIT! Of all the toys, our Princess, somehow always finds the empty cardboard boxes and makes them the highlight of her play time! As we watch, it is with such comfort and joy to see that the simplicty of life for a child rests not in the tangible but in the freeness to play and self discover with the empty box! I have to wonder, what is it about the empty box? I do not know but I am grateful for a child that can find joy in an empty box! I pray that she always seeks out the simplicity of life and reduces complexities by simply being her authentic self! In the words of Buzz Light Year from toy story, BUT with my own twist, “TO CARDBOARD AND BEYOND”! LOL
