We are getting ready for our Princess’ first birthday party! Disclaimer, I have literally been planning her first birthday party since well maybe one week after she was born! LOL. Every book, article, post and podcast has shared that the first birthday party is not for the kid, it is for the Parent! I totally agree, it is as if I went straight off the deep end into 12 feet, forget the pool, into the ocean! j I want it to be so magical, so breathtaking, so awe capturing because she is my first love, the purest form of Heavenly comfort and I want to celebrate her for being all of that and so much more! The first year of life, we survived and she survived with the Veteran Parent [Daddy] and myself as the newbie. We have not even had our second child yet, and I somehow feel the training wheels of Parenting are sliding off with each dawning of the day!
